WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event returns on July 18, 2026, with a Madison Square Garden card centered on a new superstar who is transcending the sport of professional wrestling.
The show is scheduled to stream live at 8 p.m. ET on Peacock in the United States and Netflix internationally, giving WWE another prime-time showcase before the summer calendar turns fully toward SummerSlam.
WWE has confirmed Danhausen vs. JD McDonagh and a Women’s Tag Team Championship match with Paige and Brie Bella defending against Fatal Influence.
Danhausen vs. JD McDonagh Betting Line
- Danhausen -5000
- JD McDonagh +1000
Danhausen’s arrival in WWE has been one of the more unusual success stories of the year. He is not being positioned like a traditional main-event monster, but that is exactly why the character has worked.
His mix of comedy, oddball confidence, fan interaction, and “very nice, very evil” weirdness has given WWE something different in the middle of its weekly programming. More importantly, WWE has leaned into what makes him connect with fans instead of sanding off the edges.
During Danhausen’s time in AEW, he often felt like a character the company liked having around more than someone it knew how to feature consistently. In WWE, the presentation has been clearer.
The curse gimmick, the timing of his appearances, and the way other wrestlers react to him have all made him feel like a real part of the show rather than a novelty act waiting for TV time.
The lead-up to this match has centered on Danhausen’s problems with The Judgment Day. The storyline stems from Judgment Day wanting Danhausen to return money they gave him to curse Oba Femi, with the tension escalating into a singles match against JD McDonagh at Madison Square Garden.
WWE sportsbooks are leaving almost no mystery about the expected winner. At -5000, Danhausen is priced like a near-lock, and JD McDonagh’s +1000 number puts him firmly in long-shot territory.
That does not mean McDonagh cannot get offense or that Judgment Day cannot create chaos, but the market is clearly saying this match is designed to continue Danhausen’s momentum.
The only real betting question is whether more creative props will be available closer to the show, because the moneyline itself offers very little value unless bettors are willing to lay an enormous wager.
Paige & Brie Bella vs. Fatal Influence Betting Line
- Paige & Brie Bella (C) +105
- Fatal Influence -145
The Women’s Tag Team Championship match now has a much clearer betting shape, and the odds suggest Fatal Influence is being taken seriously as a title-change threat. Paige and Brie Bella enter as the champions at +105, while Fatal Influence is listed as the slight favorite at -145.
Paige and Brie have already built a strong title run, retaining the championships four times against teams including The Irresistible Forces, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. That track record gives the champions credibility, especially with two recognizable names carrying the belts into a major Saturday Night’s Main Event spot.
Fatal Influence has been circling the champions for weeks. On June 5, the group attacked Paige and Brie Bella during a merch signing, and the feud has continued into July. The challengers have been presented less like a temporary obstacle and more like a group WWE may be ready to elevate.
On the July 3 episode of SmackDown, Brie faced Lainey Reid in what Fightful noted was her first singles match in eight years, and WWE later confirmed that Paige and Brie would defend the tag titles against Fatal Influence at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
From a betting standpoint, this is still a competitive match, but it is not a true pick’em. Fatal Influence at -145 implies the challengers have the edge, while Paige and Brie at +105 are slight underdogs despite being the defending champions.
That usually points to a match where the story may lean toward disruption, interference, or a title change rather than a clean, feel-good defense.
Paige and Brie still have the name value, the championship run, and the crowd-friendly side of the feud. Fatal Influence has the numerical advantage, the heel momentum, and a chaotic presentation that can make a title switch believable without damaging the champions too much.
At these prices, Fatal Influence looks like the more likely result, but Paige and Brie remain live enough that the plus-money number is not easy to dismiss.
