It now appears that WWE intends to continue running events on the same day as AEW, as both pro wrestling promotions will host a historic pay-per-view this Saturday.
AEW All Out
AEW All Out 2025 will take place on September 20, 2025, at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This marks the first time the event will be held outside the United States, marking their further expansion into international markets.
The PPV event is scheduled to start at 3 PM Eastern Time, with a pre-show beginning at 2 PM ET. This adjusted earlier start time is an attempt to avoid direct conflict with WWE Wrestlepalooza.
AEW All Out 2025 will be broadcast live on HBO Max, which will be AEW’s first PPV to stream on the platform, with a pre-order price of $39.99.
Headlining All Out will be an AEW Championship match between title-holder “Hangman” Adam Page and challenger Kyle Fletcher.
Adam Page vs. Kyle Fletcher Betting Line
- Page -5000
- Fletcher +1200
Page is so heavily favored that gamblers will have to risk the max bet of $1,250 to earn $25 on him retaining the title. A wager of $25 on Fletcher will earn players $300 if he upsets Page on Saturday.
WWE Wrestlepalooza
WWE Wrestlepalooza is also scheduled for September 20, 2025, and will take place in Indianapolis. Named as a homage to the old ECW event WrestlePalooza, this show marks one of WWE’s signature events and aims to make a big statement against AEW’s All Out, which airs earlier the same day.
Wrestlepalooza’s start time is 7 PM ET, so fans can catch both shows if they choose. It is WWE’s first Premium Live Event (PLE) to be broadcast on ESPN.
While it is clear that the WWE intends to continue this direct competition strategy, what is the ultimate endgame when the AEW has an unlimited budget?
Lower viewership and buy rates for All-Elite Wrestling pay-per-views could result in less network interest in the long run. Smaller payouts for AEW talent could create a scenario where the grass seems greener over at the WWE.
Odds for WWE betting are available for most known matches, but most of the focus is on the final meeting between John Cena and Brock Lesnar.
John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar Betting Line
- Cena -500
- Lesnar +400
The max bet of $125 on Cena at BetOnline will result in a payout of $25 if he wins. Alternatively, the maximum bet of $25 on Lesnar will yield $75 if he can defeat Cena at Wrestlepalooza.
